BNB Chain Defies Market Cap Slump with Robust Q1 Revenue Growth

BNB Chain demonstrated remarkable resilience in Q1 2025, posting a 58.1% quarter-over-quarter revenue surge to $70.8 million despite a 14.8% decline in market capitalization. The network’s performance was anchored by a 122.6% explosion in wallet-to-wallet transaction fees, which now command 17.4% of total revenue—eclipsing DeFi contributions.

DeFi activities grew modestly by 7.6% but accounted for just 8.4% of earnings, while stablecoin-related revenue expanded 23.4% to represent 5.2% of the total. This revenue diversification comes as BNB maintains its position as the fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap at $86.2 billion, weathering broader market headwinds that compressed valuations across the sector.
